Nancy G

Nancy is a licensed mental health therapist who uses a holistic, mindful, strength-based approach. She believes the start point for growth, change, and healing is awareness. Her goal is to help you see a broader, more balanced view of yourself that includes your strengths and your creativity, and not just your challenges and your wounds. Next, it's time to shift into the "Now What?" stage of change - taking all this knowledge and insights and putting them into action. This is where the magic lies!

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." ~ Carl Jung

Tamara V

Tamara has been a therapist for many years. Over the years my view of what is most helpful to clients has evolved to not ignoring diagnosis, but realizing it isn't that important to the change process. My preferred therapeutic tool is using narrative or story. We may come out of childhood with stories that are inaccurate and damaging. Reauthoring those stories and pulling meaning from them is empowering and freeing. This podcast is in service to believing in people and making what may seem like insurmountable obstacles to healing and growth, simply building blocks that lead the way to something better.

"If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can't survive." ~Brené Brown
